About

Originally from the UK, Freddie first made his mark as a sommelier before his passion for the craft led him into production as Assistant Winemaker at Norman Hardie Winery & Vineyard—one of Prince Edward County’s most respected estates. Over five consecutive vintages, he refined his skills, producing premium wines that now feature on the lists of more than 40 Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe.

In the 2025 harvest, Freddie began laying the groundwork for his own label, set to launch in 2026. Alongside winemaking, he partners with renowned private chefs such as Enid Grace and Matt DeMille, as well as Toronto’s private members’ club, The Vintage Conservatory, to create distinctive wine experiences that connect people through great food and exceptional bottles.

With his WSET Level 4 Diploma, Freddie brings both technical mastery and genuine passion to everything he does. His relaxed, engaging approach—laced with a bit of British wit—keeps tastings lively and approachable, turning them into authentic conversations that appeal to everyone from curious newcomers to seasoned enthusiasts.
