Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux · Red · Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, in proportions that change each vintage
Vines were planted here in 1305 by Bertrand de Goth, Archbishop of Bordeaux, the year he became Pope Clement V, and the estate still carries his name. That's over 700 years of winemaking, one of the longest histories in Bordeaux. It sits in Pessac, on the edge of the city of Bordeaux.
Rich and smoky, with dark fruit, tobacco and the gravelly, earthy notes Pessac-Léognan is known for.
